Customer Success Manager - Enterprise

About the Role

As a Customer Success Manager at Chainguard, you will be the primary post-sales point of contact for our enterprise customers, leading engagements across onboarding, implementation, and adoption. This role is crucial for driving customer outcomes, ensuring successful product adoption, and delivering measurable time-to-value.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical onboarding process for new customers, partnering with internal and external teams to understand requirements, goals, and challenges.
• Develop strong relationships with customer stakeholders at all levels, from technical staff to CISOs.
• Collaborate with sales teams to identify renewal and expansion opportunities while proactively minimizing churn risks.
• Partner with customers and the education team to ensure comprehensive understanding of product features, best practices, and security principles.
• Develop and maintain hands-on technical knowledge of Chainguard products, staying current with industry trends and new features to optimize customer usage.
• Act as the voice of the customer internally, advocating for customer needs and requirements to product, engineering, and other teams.
• Collaborate with Technical Support and Customer Engineering teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of customer issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise, customer-facing roles such as Customer Success, Professional Services, Technical Account Management, Sales, Solutions Engineering, or Technical Support.
• Demonstrated domain knowledge in one or more areas: Supply Chain Security, DevSecOps, AppSec, security infrastructure, containers, regulatory compliance, vulnerability management, or software development lifecycle.
• Ability to take full ownership of a customer portfolio, acting with a high level of autonomy to drive effective customer outcomes and make key decisions.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable with building new processes and practices to best serve customers.
• Strong commitment to continuous personal and professional development.
• High emotional intelligence, driven, and excellent priority management skills.

• Previous experience in an early-stage startup environment.

• Hands-on technical experience with cloud computing environments (AWS, GCP, Azure), containers, or Linux.
