Enterprise Sales Engineer

Join our team as an Enterprise Sales Engineer, where you will be instrumental in securing technical wins by understanding client needs and demonstrating the value of Chainguard's cutting-edge security solutions. This role offers the exciting opportunity to cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and drive significant impact on our customer acquisition and growth.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Sales Team to facilitate customer evaluation and demonstrate solution value.
• Drive new customer acquisition and expand existing customer relationships.
• Own all technical aspects of sales opportunities, assisting customers in understanding Chainguard's value.
• Actively listen to customers to understand their challenges and needs.
• Conduct compelling product demonstrations, Proofs of Value (POVs), and Proofs of Concept (POCs).
• Represent the company at webinars, meetups, conferences, and other marketing initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or Pre-Sales Engineer.
• Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC or Command of the Message.
• 3+ years of experience selling into Enterprise and Mid-Market segments.
• Proficiency with container technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Serverless, Docker).
• Experience with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Background in cloud security, container security, or application security.
• Experience working in a startup environment.
