Enterprise Sales Engineer

About the Role

Join our dynamic team as an Enterprise Sales Engineer, where you will be instrumental in assessing prospect technical requirements and demonstrating how Chainguard's innovative products solve critical client needs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and drive technical wins.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Sales Team to help customers evaluate and prove the value of Chainguard's solutions.
• Focus on acquiring new customer logos and growing the existing customer base.
• Own all technical aspects of sales opportunities and assist current customers in understanding Chainguard's value.
• Conduct product demonstrations, Proofs of Value (POVs), and Proofs of Concept (POCs).
• Secure technical wins through methods such as RFP/RFI responses and collaboration with engineering for requested features.
• Actively participate in webinars, meetups, conferences, and other marketing initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or Pre-Sales Engineer.
• Experience with MEDDPICC and/or Command of the Message sales frameworks.
• 3+ years of experience selling into Enterprise and Mid-Market prospects.
• Strong understanding and experience with container technologies (Kubernetes, Serverless, Docker).
• Familiarity with major cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google).
• Experience in cloud security, container security, or application security.
• Ability to act as a trusted advisor, build credibility with customers, and be a strong team player.
• Must be located in the Southeast United States.
