Mobility Specialist - APAC

About the Role

Join the Mobility team at Remote to ensure seamless, compliant global employment transitions for our growing international workforce across the APAC region and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal and advisory guidance to clients regarding immigration compliance service delivery.
• Analyze, prepare, and submit necessary visa and work permit applications.
• Monitor and control Remote products and services to maintain strict immigration compliance.
• Independently track and interpret immigration law changes to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance and control internal documentation.
• Guide employees on specific travel needs, counsel on immigration processes, and serve as the primary contact for business travel and sponsorship cases.
• Proactively improve mobility processes through automation and comprehensive documentation.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience in immigration compliance, global mobility, or a closely related field.
• Comprehensive understanding of immigration procedures and processes necessary for compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain composure and efficiency under pressure, especially during high-volume periods.
• Strong customer-facing experience with excellent communication skills for engaging diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
• Eagerness and strong interest in continuously expanding knowledge of global immigration laws.

Nice-to-Haves

• Prior experience within the technology sector or a rapidly scaling company environment.
• Experience working effectively in a fully remote and/or asynchronous work setting with minimal direct oversight.
• Experience managing vendor relationships related to relocation logistics or immigration services.
