Sales Development Representative

About the Role

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a pivotal role in guiding users through their Grafana journey, identifying new business opportunities, and contributing significantly to our community and revenue goals. This is an exciting opportunity to develop valuable, transferable skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain knowledge of Grafana technology, competitors, the open source ecosystem, and industry trends
• Follow up on inbound leads effectively and efficiently
• Use a multi-channel approach (email, social, calling) to proactively outreach to new leads within target accounts, confidently driving business conversations on the phone
• Utilize Salesforce and Grafana dashboards for lead and account management and research
• Prioritize and customize outreach to target prospects and accounts via email and LinkedIn using research and data
• Drive effective discovery conversations to understand user needs and goals, providing appropriate resources and communicating how Grafana can help
• Consistently meet new business opportunity and pipeline targets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing and sales to achieve collective success

Requirements

• Fluent in English and French (written and spoken)
• Open to feedback and coaching, with a continuous improvement mindset
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication style
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and demands
• Willingness and ability to take on any task, big or small, with a focus on quality
• Resourceful and proactive in a constantly evolving environment
• Driven by purpose and a team-first attitude
• Ability to research and apply a detective mindset to craft thoughtful, value-add messaging
• Confidence in driving business conversations on the phone
