Senior Director, Platform Product Management

About the Role

Lead the strategic vision for PagerDuty's platform foundation, driving the transformation toward AI-augmented, autonomous operations and enabling 10x faster application development velocity for internal and external users.

Responsibilities

• Guide product strategy, prioritization, and roadmap allocation across core services (admin, authentication, security, notification), Developer Experience (APIs & Integrations), and Infrastructure & Internal Tools.
• Build shared services and components to create leverage and accelerate application feature delivery velocity for multiple internal teams.
• Deliver robust APIs, developer tools, and content to seamlessly onboard PagerDuty apps, professional services, and customers onto the platform.
• Evolve the contextual data platform for scalable and secure ingestion and correlation of data from a vast number of sources.
• Expand the integration ecosystem through internal development and strategic partnerships across ITSM, monitoring, observability, and developer tools.
• Drive project prioritization based on customer value, compliance, developer velocity, and cost control across all platform stakeholders.
• Foster and coach a high-performing, diverse product management team, ensuring accountability and empowerment.

Requirements

• 6-10+ years in technical product management for a B2B enterprise SaaS company, with significant platform experience (APIs, developer tooling, shared services).
• Proven experience building, coaching, and leading high-performing Product Management teams of 5 or more PMs.
• Strong technical knowledge of integration architecture, patterns, API best practices, and cross-application business flows.
• Ability to partner effectively with experienced engineers, demonstrating technical depth in areas like RESTful API design and experimentation.
• Exceptional ability to communicate complex, highly technical problems with clarity and precision.
• Self-motivated user of AI tools with a strong bias toward scaling team output through technology.

Nice-to-Haves

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field; MBA is a plus.
• Practical experience working as a software developer.
• Experience rapidly learning and designing platform strategies around major 3rd-party applications (e.g., ServiceNow, Atlassian, Salesforce).
