Senior IT Engineer

About the Role

Join 1Password as a Senior IT Engineer to manage and enhance our critical technology infrastructure, ensuring robust and secure operations across our remote workforce.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain core IT systems, including network infrastructure, endpoint management, and cloud services.
• Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for complex hardware, software, and connectivity issues across the organization.
• Develop and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and best practices to protect company assets and data integrity.
• Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new technologies to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
• Document IT processes, configurations, and standard operating procedures clearly for team reference and auditing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in an IT Engineering or Systems Administration role, preferably supporting a large, distributed workforce.
• Deep expertise in managing enterprise-level endpoint management solutions (e.g., MDM/UEM).
• Proven proficiency with networking protocols, VPNs, and cloud infrastructure management (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Strong understanding of security frameworks, identity and access management (IAM), and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Certifications such as CISSP, ITIL, or relevant cloud certifications.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation tasks.
