Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Contractor)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Senior Machine Learning Engineer to focus on developing advanced ML algorithms, optimizing data pipelines, and leveraging expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) to solve complex, large-scale data challenges.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sophisticated machine learning algorithms to address complex business problems.
• Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines, including necessary transformations and preprocessing steps.
• Conduct rigorous data analysis to extract meaningful insights and trends.
• Create and optimize innovative algorithms for various specialized applications.
• Validate models and test hypotheses through thorough, rigorous experimentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Machine Learning Engineer.
• Strong expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), specifically utilizing transformer models.
• Proven track record in developing and deploying machine learning models and algorithms.
• Deep Learning proficiency using frameworks such as Tensorflow, Keras, or Pytorch.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python programming.
• Strong SQL skills for complex data manipulation and analysis.
• Direct experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Prompt Engineering techniques.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience developing model APIs using Python frameworks like FastAPI or BentoML.
• Familiarity with search and recommender systems.
• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Familiarity with AWS services.
