Senior Product Designer - Pay Ecosystem

About the Role

Join Remote's strategically important Pay Ecosystem team to design complex, high-impact user experiences that enable businesses to pay international teams compliantly and safely. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced designer to own end-to-end design for critical features within a fast-paced, global HRTech platform.

Responsibilities

• Influence product strategy by identifying opportunities for design impact in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Apply appropriate research methodologies to develop an intimate understanding of complex customer challenges.
• Craft high-fidelity user interfaces with flair, velocity, and an exceptional bar for quality, maintaining consistency with the design system.
• Solve problems holistically using systems-thinking to ensure scalability and avoid unnecessary complexity in the information architecture.
• Lead compelling vision initiatives, visualizing the direction-of-travel and opportunities for innovation within the domain.
• Communicate design rationale persuasively through storytelling narratives and efficiently triage feedback from peers.
• Advocate for and contribute improvements to the 'Norma' design system.

Requirements

• An impressive portfolio demonstrating maturity across the end-to-end design process, from problem identification to delivering delightful, well-crafted user interfaces.
• Persuasive communication skills with fluent written and spoken English, capable of building strong narratives and guiding peers.
• Proven ability as a systems thinker, comfortable in a high-growth environment, and capable of autonomously owning design for complex domains.
• Strong evidence of effective cross-functional collaboration with product and engineering counterparts to drive consensus and impactful outcomes.
• A commitment to shaping design culture, providing peer support, critique, and feedback.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience designing complex B2B SaaS solutions, particularly within HRTech or FinTech sectors.
• Prior experience working effectively in a fully remote environment.
