Responsibilities

• Influence strategy for your product team by identifying high-impact opportunities in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Apply appropriate research methodologies to deeply understand customer challenges and develop intimate knowledge of the problem space.
• Craft high-fidelity user interfaces with flair and velocity, maintaining an exceptional bar for quality and interaction design.
• Solve problems holistically using systems-thinking, ensuring design decisions promote scalability and maintain consistency across information architecture.
• Lead compelling vision initiatives for your domain, visualizing the direction-of-travel and opportunities for innovation.
• Advocate for and contribute to the 'Norma' design system, knowing when to adhere strictly or when to propose improvements.
• Communicate design rationale persuasively through storytelling narratives while efficiently triaging critique and feedback.

Requirements

• An impressive portfolio demonstrating maturity across the end-to-end design process, from problem identification to delivering delightful, high-impact user interfaces.
• Fluent written and spoken English, with persuasive communication skills necessary to build strong narratives and guide peers/stakeholders.
• Proven ability as a systems thinker comfortable navigating ambiguity and autonomously owning design for complex domains or multiple projects.
• Strong evidence of effective cross-functional collaboration with Product and Engineering counterparts to build consensus and drive business outcomes.
• A focus on shaping design culture and ways of working within the broader design organization, beyond just delivering individual features.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience designing complex B2B SaaS solutions, particularly within HRTech or FinTech sectors.
• Prior experience working in a fully remote organization.
