Solution Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and build decision solutions using RelationalAI’s modeling, reasoning, and learning capabilities.
• Lead technical discovery and design sessions with customers, including running workshops, demos, and proofs-of-concept to translate complex problems into executable models.
• Own end-to-end delivery of customer engagements, from initial scoping and implementation through optimization and success metric validation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market teams to ensure customer insights influence the product roadmap.
• Educate and enable customers and internal teams by creating reusable assets and delivering hands-on training on modeling best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or technical consulting.
• 3+ years of experience in solution engineering, pre-sales, or data application delivery roles.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and major cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Experience with programming or scripting languages (Python, Julia, Shell, etc.) for integrations and prototypes.
• Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, measurable business value.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building analytical, decision, or reasoning applications in a production environment.
• Familiarity with rule-based systems, optimization, and/or predictive modeling techniques.
• Understanding of semantic modeling, data pipelines, and data governance best practices.

As a Solution Engineer, you act as a technical entrepreneur, embedding directly with customers to model their world using relational knowledge graphs and neuro/symbolic-relational reasoners to drive trustworthy decision intelligence.
