Account Executive - Fintech

About the Role

Join our dynamic Fintech sales team to drive the adoption of Plaid's transformative financial technology solutions and empower developers building the future of finance.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate strong customer relationships and identify business value and impact of Plaid across your territory of accounts.
• Engage deeply within customer and prospect accounts to build support for adopting Plaid solutions.
• Collaborate effectively with a dedicated account pod, including sales development representatives, account managers, technical account managers, and product teams.
• Understand each customer's unique goals and priorities, and articulate how Plaid's solutions can help them achieve desired outcomes.
• Proactively identify opportunities for Plaid solutions to deliver value to high-growth Fintech customers.
• Develop and manage a pipeline of engaged prospects to consistently meet and exceed sales quotas.
• Own the end-to-end sales cycle, coordinating efforts with sales engineers, product specialists, and other team members.
• Manage pipeline and accurately forecast deal value and win probability.
• Develop a deep understanding of Plaid solutions and apply this knowledge to customer needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7+ years in a quota-carrying direct sales role with a proven track record of attainment.
• Excellent prospecting, qualifying, and negotiating skills with a consultative, customer-centric approach.
• Working knowledge of APIs and a strong desire to understand technical concepts.
• Professional and clear communication style, capable of explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
