Account Executive - Government and Public Sector (UK/I)

About the Role

We are seeking a driven and experienced Account Executive to spearhead our growth within the UK and Ireland Government and Public Sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive adoption of our cutting-edge AI voice technology in critical public services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve ambitious revenue targets within the UK/I Public Sector.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and closing deals with government agencies and related entities.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders.
• Accurately forecast sales activity and pipeline health using CRM tools.
• Stay informed about public sector procurement processes, regulations, and technology trends.

Requirements

• Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas specifically within the UK/I Public Sector (Central Government, Local Government, NHS, Education).
• Deep understanding of the public sector buying cycle, compliance requirements, and contracting frameworks.
• 5+ years of successful B2B enterprise sales experience, preferably selling complex software or AI solutions.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, capable of engaging C-level executives and technical teams.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK or Ireland and willing to travel as required.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience selling AI, Machine Learning, or advanced SaaS products.
• Existing network of contacts within UK public sector technology procurement teams.
• Fluency in relevant European languages is a plus.
