AI Enablement Engineer

About the Role

Join us as our first AI Enablement Engineer to design and launch AI-powered tools that enhance employee experience and productivity. This remote role combines engineering with a product mindset, focusing on internal enablement at the intersection of culture, learning, and technology.

Responsibilities

• Build, launch, and iterate on AI-powered internal tools for employee enablement, such as adaptive 1:1 prompts, performance coaching, and automated culture dashboards.
• Integrate AI capabilities into core platforms like Google Workspace, Slack, and Salesforce using APIs and Google Apps Script.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify workflow friction points and propose AI-driven solutions.
• Rapidly pilot new products, collect user feedback, and drive adoption through iterative improvements.
• Ensure all AI tools are developed with ethical considerations, transparency, and opt-in functionality.
• Document technical builds and create reusable frameworks to ensure scalability of solutions.
• Contribute to and co-lead Culture & Belonging team programs, applying both engineering and collaborative skills.

Requirements

• Proven experience in building, launching, and iterating on internal tools or products.
• Strong engineering background with a product-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in integrating AI via APIs into various business applications (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack, Salesforce).
• Experience with scripting languages, specifically Google Apps Script.
• Ability to gather user feedback, analyze data, and drive product improvements.
• Understanding of ethical AI principles and commitment to transparent tool development.
• Excellent documentation skills and ability to create scalable frameworks.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in HR tech, learning & development, or internal communications platforms.
• Familiarity with various AI/ML models and their application in enterprise settings.
