The AI team at Goodnotes is dedicated to building the world’s best human-AI co-editing experience using cutting-edge foundation models. Our innovative AI products, including in-document conversational UI, AI Tutor, and Classroom AI, already enhance efficiency for millions of users. We are now expanding to reimagine productivity and knowledge work with freeform AI for professionals. This is a distributed team operating across Europe and Asia, focused on integrating advanced AI capabilities into Goodnotes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a distributed team of Machine Learning, Full-Stack, and iOS engineers.
• Drive the development and integration of advanced AI capabilities within the Goodnotes platform.
• Contribute to the strategic vision of transforming education and productivity through human-AI co-editing experiences.
• Work with cutting-edge foundation models to build innovative AI products.

Requirements

• Proven experience in AI/ML engineering leadership or management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage diverse engineering teams (ML, Full-Stack, iOS).
• Experience working with distributed teams across different timezones (Europe, Asia).
• Strong understanding of AI/Machine Learning concepts and technologies, especially foundation models.
• Passion for leveraging AI to enhance productivity, creativity, and learning.
