Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Participate in code reviews, contributing to a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues, ensuring system reliability and stability.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Backend Engineer, with a strong focus on Node.js and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of API design principles (RESTful, GraphQL) and microservices architecture.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and practices (unit, integration, end-to-end testing).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience working in a globally distributed team.
