Builder Relations Lead

About the Role

Join us as a Builder Relations Lead to champion the adoption of Airtable's new AI-native platform by engaging directly with our vibrant builder communities. This exciting role empowers you to bridge powerful AI capabilities with users, converting skeptics into believers through authentic interactions and viral demonstrations. This position is available in San Francisco, CA; New York, NY; Austin, TX; or Remote - US.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage with builder communities across platforms like Reddit (r/Airtable), Discord, Slack, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, and YouTube, operating "in the wild" to understand and address their needs.
• Build strong, authentic relationships with power users and influential community members within BuiltOnAir, NoCode communities, and other industry groups.
• Create compelling, platform-native content and develop viral demonstrations tailored to each community's culture to drive awareness and adoption of Airtable's AI features.
• Rapidly prototype working Airtable AI demos that answer community questions and effectively convert AI-skeptical builders into advocates.
• Host engaging live building sessions and YouTube streams, openly sharing genuine experiments and discoveries.
• Monitor community sentiment, identify emerging trends, and proactively showcase AI solutions organically.

Requirements

• Proven experience in community engagement, social media management, or developer/builder relations, with a focus on technical products.
• Deep understanding of online community dynamics and cultures across platforms such as Reddit, Discord, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Exceptional content creation skills, including the ability to write engaging posts, create compelling videos, and develop impactful product demonstrations.
• Ability to rapidly learn, understand, and effectively demonstrate new technical features, particularly those related to AI.
• Experience with no-code/low-code platforms; familiarity with Airtable is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for converting skeptics through genuine helpfulness and clear explanations.
• A self-starter mentality, capable of operating independently and proactively in diverse community environments.

• Practical experience or strong interest in AI/ML concepts and tools.
• An established personal brand or existing active presence within relevant builder or no-code communities.
• Experience hosting live streams, webinars, or public speaking engagements.
