About the Role
Join Kraken's dynamic Futures Business Development team to drive growth and expand our market presence across Europe. This is an exciting opportunity to shape our futures offerings and engage with key clients in the rapidly evolving digital asset space.
Responsibilities
- Identify and onboard new institutional and high-net-worth clients for Kraken's futures products.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and new business opportunities within the European futures market.
- Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and legal teams to enhance offerings and ensure compliance.
- Represent Kraken at industry events and conferences to promote our futures platform.
Requirements
- Proven experience (3+ years) in business development, sales, or account management within financial services.
- Strong understanding of futures, derivatives, and broader financial markets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and remotely, with a strong sense of initiative.
- Based in Europe, preferably the United Kingdom, with a willingness to travel as needed.
Nice-to-Haves
- Prior experience in the cryptocurrency or blockchain industry.
- Established network of contacts within the European institutional financial sector.
- Proficiency in additional European languages.
