Capital Markets Manager

About the Role

Join Affirm's Capital Markets team to shape the funding strategy that powers our global consumer lending business. This is a critical role for a motivated individual looking to make a significant impact in a fast-growing fintech company.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Capital Markets strategy, owning significant components of live transactions.
• Manage deal processes from structuring and negotiation through documentation and execution.
• Communicate and collaborate with Engineering, Product, Commercial, and Credit/Risk teams to scale the capital platform.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential investors.
• Gain a deep understanding of Affirm's business and the role of Capital Markets within corporate initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in structured finance, fixed-income investing, trading, private equity, consulting, or product/strategy roles.
• Ability to think critically and solve complex problems using first principles.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder communication.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and align cross-functional partners.
• High level of humility, a strong desire to learn, and attention to detail.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with SQL or Python.
• Demonstrated alignment with Affirm's core values.
