Clinical Coordinator, Radiologic Technology

About the Role

Stepful is seeking a dedicated Clinical Coordinator to establish and manage the clinical education component of our new Radiologic Technology program, playing a crucial role in shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the clinical curriculum, ensuring alignment between didactic learning and practical application.
• Build, qualify, and maintain a network of clinical sites, ensuring they meet accreditation standards and provide adequate learning opportunities.
• Manage student clinical placements, scheduling, and supervision to ensure equitable access to diverse procedures and maintain required student-to-staff ratios.
• Enforce radiation safety protocols and supervision requirements in clinical settings.
• Develop and support clinical preceptors through onboarding, training, and ongoing communication.
• Track student competency progression, provide clinical advisement, and develop remediation plans as needed.
• Contribute clinical evidence for accreditation reports and participate in program assessment.
• Teach didactic and/or clinical courses as required.
• Maintain professional currency in radiography practice and educational methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Current ARRT R.T.(R) certification.
• Current Texas GMRT certificate from the Texas Board of Medical Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in radiography.
• Minimum of one year of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited program.
• Proficiency in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising.
• Working knowledge of JRCERT Standards and ABHES clinical experience requirements.
• Reliable access to a major airport and availability to travel to Texas.

Nice-to-Haves

• Prior experience as a clinical coordinator or clinical instructor in a JRCERT-accredited program.
