Clinical Implementation Manager, Surgical Services

About the Role

Join Stepful to redefine healthcare talent pipelines by managing and scaling onsite clinical operations for our Surgical Technology and Sterile Processing programs, ensuring student success and fostering strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-launch preparation for clinical sites, confirming logistics, materials, and site readiness.
• Identify and onboard client-side clinical coordinators and preceptors.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for students, providing support and tracking progress.
• Manage clinical coordination, including preceptor onboarding and evaluation completion.
• Present independently to clinical staff, building credibility and trust.
• Exercise judgment to resolve issues directly or escalate as needed.

Requirements

• Active NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or NCCT TS-C certification; OR a nurse/OR professional with extensive hands-on operating room experience; OR an associate's or nursing degree with first-assist experience.
• Demonstrated ability to present independently to clinical coordinators, preceptors, and hospital staff.
• Experience in process and operational management, including tracking program progress and managing in-person program logistics.
• Willingness to travel to clinical sites regularly (50%+ of the time).
• Comfort operating with autonomy in a fast-growing organization and building processes.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in EdTech or online/hybrid healthcare training environments.
• Experience in healthcare training, apprenticeship, or externship placement.
• Dual certification across surgical technology and sterile processing.
• Based in the Southeast US.
