Commercial Account Executive, Acquisition

Join Grafana Labs, an open-source powerhouse, as a Commercial Account Executive focused on new business acquisition across India. This is an exciting opportunity to drive growth by applying a consultative sales approach to help leading companies adopt our observability solutions.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed individual quarterly and annual sales goals through proactive effort.
• Execute outbound prospecting activities targeting net-new customers within the assigned territory.
• Manage the entire sales lifecycle, including initial prospecting, sales meetings, product demonstrations, proofs of concept, negotiation, and closing.
• Clearly articulate the value proposition of both Grafana Cloud and the Grafana Enterprise Stack.
• Maintain accurate sales pipeline management, forecasting, and customer data tracking within Salesforce.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience selling infrastructure and/or cloud technology products.
• Proven track record of consistently achieving sales goals (ideally top 10% performer) in a competitive environment.
• Exceptional communication skills across all channels (written, verbal, virtual, and in-person).
• Professional fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a high-velocity technology sales environment.

Nice-to-Haves

• Previous experience working with or selling open-source technology solutions.
• Proficiency in using Salesforce for pipeline management.
• Familiarity with sales methodologies such as Command of the Message and MEDD(P)ICC.
• A technical background that aids in understanding and conveying complex product value.
