Commercial Account Executive, Acquisition

About the Role

Join Grafana Labs as a Commercial Account Executive, Acquisition, to drive new business growth in the Central region. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage a consultative sales approach and help customers harness the power of Grafana's observability solutions.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed individual quarterly and annual sales goals.
• Conduct outbound prospecting into net-new customers.
• Manage all aspects of the sales process, including prospecting, sales meetings, product demos, proofs of concept, proposals, and negotiations.
• Cultivate sales through both outbound prospecting and inbound leads.
• Articulate the value proposition of Grafana Cloud and Grafana Enterprise.
• Maintain and manage the sales pipeline in Salesforce.
• Handle quote creation, order processing, and day-to-day customer requests.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Infrastructure Technology Sales.
• Demonstrated history of consistent goal achievement in a competitive environment (top 10% performer).
• Energetic, tenacious, and entrepreneurial team player.
• Adaptable with experience in high-velocity technology companies.
• Proficiency in using Salesforce.
• Excellent communication skills across all channels (in-person, online, written).
• Ability to form strong working relationships both in-person and virtually.
• Experience with Command of the Message and MEDD(P)ICC is ideal.

• Familiarity with open-source technology.
