About the Role
This role is for a highly motivated Commercial Account Executive based remotely in Germany, focusing on the Nordics region. You will build strong relationships with key decision-makers, evangelizing secure and reliable software solutions and demonstrating the immense value of Chainguard's offerings.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute strategic sales plans for your assigned territory.
- Effectively convey product value propositions and differentiators to prospects and customers.
- Consistently forecast, meet, and exceed sales quotas.
- Develop and manage a robust lead funnel through both inbound and outbound activities.
- Manage business opportunities and track progress using CRM and other sales tools.
- Collaborate across the sales cycle with product, support, and sales engineering teams.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and market offerings.
Requirements
- 3+ years of proven experience selling SaaS or Security solutions.
- Business-level German proficiency (C1 or higher) is essential.
- Strong track record of consistently overachieving sales targets.
- Ability to quickly learn new products and adapt to evolving processes.
Nice-to-Haves
- Domain experience with compute platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with DevOps tooling or CI/CD platforms (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins).
- Understanding of the overall Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
