Commercial Counsel - Singapore Operations

About the Role

Join ElevenLabs as our Commercial Counsel based in Singapore to drive critical legal strategy and support our rapid global expansion across commercial agreements and operations.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of complex commercial agreements, including sales contracts, vendor agreements, partnership agreements, and service level agreements.
• Provide timely, practical, and business-oriented legal advice to sales, product, and operations teams regarding contract interpretation and risk management.
• Manage and optimize contract lifecycle management processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Advise on legal and regulatory compliance matters specific to technology and data handling within the APAC region, particularly Singapore.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer admitted to practice in a recognized common law jurisdiction (e.g., Singapore, New York, England & Wales).
• Minimum of 4+ years of post-qualification experience, with significant time spent in commercial technology transactions or corporate law.
• Deep understanding of SaaS/AI industry standards, intellectual property, and data privacy regulations relevant to global technology companies.
• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders.

• Experience working in a fast-paced startup or high-growth technology environment.
• Familiarity with regional regulatory frameworks beyond Singapore (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Experience managing external counsel relationships effectively.
