About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic sales leader to drive new customer acquisition and significantly expand our commercial footprint within a key region. You will be instrumental in achieving ambitious sales targets and fostering substantial business growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute strategic sales initiatives to acquire new commercial customers within a designated region.
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, from initial lead generation through to successful deal closure.
- Negotiate and close complex deals, ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer needs.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and satisfaction.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting on regional performance and market trends.
Requirements
- Proven track record of success in a commercial sales leadership or director role, with a strong focus on new business acquisition.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales quotas in a competitive environment.
- Strong understanding of the complete sales cycle and effective strategies for targeting and engaging new clients.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, capable of engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment, managing your territory with autonomy.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience selling SaaS or technical solutions, particularly in the observability or developer tools space.
- Familiarity with leading CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) for pipeline management and reporting.
- Prior experience thriving in a remote-first company culture.
This is a remote position, with a preference for candidates based in the New York City area to best serve the regional focus.
