About the Role

Join Grafana Labs, an open-source powerhouse, as a Commercial Solutions Engineer to act as the critical bridge between our customers, Sales team, and internal engineering experts. This is an exciting opportunity to drive customer success globally by translating complex technical requirements into tangible solutions using the Grafana stack.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with the Sales team to articulate the Grafana value proposition, vision, and strategy to potential and existing customers.
• Own the technical engagement lifecycle, closing complex opportunities through expert product demonstrations and technical credibility.
• Deliver compelling product and technical presentations tailored to customer needs.
• Act as a primary feedback channel from customers to Product Management and Engineering regarding product functionality and competitive positioning.
• Create and enhance enablement materials, including documentation, blog posts, videos, and knowledge base articles.

Requirements

• 5+ years of dedicated technical pre-sales experience.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical advantages to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to listen actively, understand customer requirements, and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Strong technical mindset with a continuous desire for technical growth.
• Must be located within the United Kingdom.

Nice-to-Haves

• Prior experience working with Open Source technologies.
• Experience in the Metrics, Monitoring, or Observability space.
• Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDD(P)ICC.
