Community Growth Analyst

About the Role

Join Reddit's Community Strategy and Insights team as a Community Growth Analyst to drive data-informed strategies that foster community expansion and health. This is a unique opportunity to be at the heart of Reddit's growth engine, translating complex community dynamics into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the dedicated data partner for Community Growth and Marketing teams, translating business questions into analytical projects.
• Build and maintain automated dashboards to track community lifecycle from creation to maturity.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify patterns in moderation, contribution, and engagement correlating with long-term community health.
• Partner with Data Science to align community metrics with company-wide North Star metrics and report on the impact of community initiatives.
• Support Community Lifecycle teams by designing, tracking, and analyzing community-facing experiments.

Requirements

• 4–7+ years of experience in data analytics, growth marketing, or community insights, with a proven track record of driving business decisions through data.
• Expert-level SQL proficiency is essential.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools, databases (e.g., BigQuery), and CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Zendesk, Salesforce).
• Strategic thinking ability to derive insights from large datasets and provide a clear point of view.
• Strong collaborative spirit and ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with Python or R for deeper statistical analysis.
• A deep understanding of Reddit's unique community dynamics (moderation, karma, subreddits).
