About the Role

Join our International Community team as a Community Manager for Germany, a pivotal role focused on jumpstarting and fostering local communities. This remote position allows you to leverage your expertise in the German market to bring community and belonging to users across the region.

Responsibilities

• Gain a deep understanding of the German market to identify user and local moderator challenges and opportunities.
• Iterate, innovate, and scale the international consumer growth playbook by recognizing new opportunities, suggesting bold ideas and programs, and aligning internal teams on new plans.
• Build strategic plans to cultivate, recruit, and engage local volunteer moderators.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in strategic community management and operations.
• Deep understanding and expertise in the German market.
• Proficiency in both English and German.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and bridges with volunteer moderators.
• Experience in innovating, iterating, and scaling consumer playbooks for international markets.
• Strong focus on proactive initiatives to build and foster local communities.
