Community Moderator

About the Role

Join us as a Community Moderator to foster healthy and engaging online communities for students. Your primary objective will be to ensure community goals are met by actively monitoring and supporting student interactions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor online forums daily, including weekends, at least twice per day (e.g., morning and evening).
• Ensure a healthy and engaging online environment for students.
• Support community managers in achieving community goals.
• Effectively communicate information and report on community activities.

Requirements

• Reside in Egypt.
• Demonstrated knowledge of online communities and ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Possess a strong, reliable internet connection for daily online duties.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a proactive approach.
• Understanding of online community platform moderation tools (e.g., forums, photo uploads, commenting).
• Good knowledge of customer service principles.
• Availability to work days, evenings, nights, and weekends as required.
• Student-oriented mindset, focused on understanding and addressing student problems.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience as a Nanodegree Graduate.
