Compliance Officer / MLRO France

About the Role

Join us as an experienced and driven Compliance Officer and MLRO to ensure regulatory adherence for our French entity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments and create an annual compliance plan.
• Develop and implement a plan for second-line controls and conduct tests.
• Assess future business activities to identify potential compliance risks.
• Ensure firm policies and procedures are effectively communicated to employees.
• Ensure compliance training is effective and up-to-date.
• Stay informed about regulatory changes and maintain policies and procedures accordingly.
• Collaborate with internal departments (Trading Operations, Finance, Risk Management, IT & Security, etc.) to integrate compliance requirements.
• Oversee Keyrock FR's compliance with AML obligations, acting as the focal point for AML activity (MLRO).
• Carry out the duties of an MLRO as per the AML/CTF Framework.
• Represent Keyrock FR in all matters of money laundering prevention internally and externally.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on AML/CTF, providing guidance and support.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with AML/CTF requirements and internal policies.
• Draft compliance points of attention and recommendations and assist with management information reports.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a compliance officer (2nd line of defense) in a regulated financial institution.
• Exposure to MLRO responsibilities or a similar position.
• Experience engaging with French regulatory authorities (AMF & ACPR).
• Excellent knowledge of financial regulations such as MiCAR, AML/CTF, Market abuse, and data privacy.
• A relevant degree, preferably in business or law.
