Visual Designer (West Coast)

About the Role

This contract Visual Designer role offers a unique opportunity to significantly shape the brand experience of a product loved by millions of developers worldwide. You will be instrumental in bringing the Docker brand to life across diverse digital channels, contributing to a variety of marketing, web, and brand initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design assets for marketing, web, social media, events, and presentations.
• Translate creative direction into high-quality visuals across multiple formats.
• Contribute to landing pages and microsites alongside senior designers.
• Ensure brand consistency and visual polish across all deliverables.
• Help evolve and maintain our design systems and asset libraries.
• Collaborate with content, marketing, and product teams to support launches and campaigns.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in visual, graphic, or digital design roles.
• A strong portfolio showcasing layout, typography, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).
• Familiarity with responsive design and web best practices.
• Strong communication skills and openness to feedback.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to manage your own time and deliverables.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with motion design.
• Experience with presentation design (Keynote, Google Slides).
• Experience working with developer-facing brands.
