Controller

About the Role

As a Controller, you will lead the financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial insights for our dynamic organization. This is a pivotal role for someone passionate about driving financial excellence and supporting growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and payroll.
• Prepare and publish timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Research technical accounting issues, ensuring adherence to accounting principles and standards (e.g., GAAP/IFRS).
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

Requirements

• Proven working experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or similar senior accounting role.
• Advanced degree in Accounting or Finance (e.g., CPA, CMA certification preferred).
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including experience with financial statement preparation.
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Familiarity with specific accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
• Experience with international accounting standards (IFRS) and multi-currency environments.
