About the Role

Join our finance team as a Controller, a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing all accounting operations and ensuring the integrity of our financial reporting. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive financial strategy and operational excellence within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all daily accounting operations, including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Prepare and publish timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Coordinate the preparation of the corporate annual budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Provide financial analysis and guidance on all company activities, plans, and targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2-3 years in a Controller or Assistant Controller role.
• Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Experience with financial statement preparation, general ledger functions, and the month-end/year-end close process.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth technology or SaaS company.
• Public accounting experience.
• Familiarity with international accounting standards (IFRS).
• Experience with financial modeling and forecasting tools.
