About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated Country Finance Manager to oversee all financial operations in South Africa. This pivotal remote role ensures compliance with local regulations and drives financial health for our operations in the region.### Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of local financial reporting and compliance in South Africa.- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management for the country.- Ensure adherence to South African tax laws and statutory requirements.- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and local authorities.- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial policies.- Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to leadership.### Requirements- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role in South Africa.- Strong knowledge of South African accounting standards (IFRS/GRAP) and tax regulations.- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA).- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel.- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.### Nice-to-Haves- Experience with global payroll or international finance operations.- Familiarity with fast-growing tech companies or remote-first organizations.- Experience with specific ERP systems like NetSuite or similar.
