Curriculum Developer - Healthcare Generalist

About the Role

Stepful is seeking a motivated Curriculum Developer - Generalist to create engaging learning experiences for hundreds of students across our diverse healthcare programs, including Pharmacy Technician and Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality, engaging online learning content for various healthcare programs, adhering to Stepful's content standards.
• Create assessment questions to evaluate student understanding throughout courses.
• Ensure learning content aligns with relevant certification standards.
• Collaborate with the internal team, receiving guidance and direction for content development.
• Manage project timelines and communicate progress regularly via Zoom, Slack, and internal tools.
• Implement rigorous quality control processes to maintain high standards of accuracy and relevance.
• Experiment with new content modalities, such as skill labs and virtual simulations, to enhance student learning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Biology, Nursing, or a related healthcare field, OR 2+ years of experience teaching STEM curriculum.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in online curriculum development as a content author, TA, or MOOC author within healthcare programs.
• Demonstrated passion for leveraging AI in content development.
• Ability to commit a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Google Drive and Google Documents.
• Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Receptiveness to constructive feedback on content style and substance.

• Instructional design skills.
• Strong understanding of educational technology (edtech), online pedagogy, and adult learners' needs.
• Analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Experience creating short-form videos, including scripting.
