About the Role

Join our team as a Data Scientist, a data-driven professional crucial for measuring, understanding, and improving our risk strategies. You will analyze complex datasets, design key metrics, and build essential dashboards to drive decision-making and optimize outcomes across the business.

Responsibilities

• Develop and track key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of risk strategies and operational performance.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover insights that reduce exposure to fraud and improve decision-making.
• Build and experiment with ML models to identify fraudulent patterns and enhance fraud detection capabilities.
• Partner with engineers to ensure accurate and scalable data instrumentation.
• Build and maintain self-serve dashboards and reporting tools using modern BI platforms.
• Translate business needs into analytical approaches in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to the design and evaluation of risk mitigation initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a high-impact data-focused role (analytics, data science, or similar).
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Sigma, or Metabase.
• Exposure to building and experimenting with machine learning models for business challenges.
• Proven ability to perform exploratory data analysis and cohort analysis, translating findings into clear recommendations.
• Strong communication skills, comfortable presenting insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A pragmatic approach to problem-solving, with strong critical thinking and a bias toward action.
