Developer Experience Engineer Growth

About the Role

Join ElevenLabs as a Developer Experience Engineer focused on Growth, playing a critical role in optimizing our internal tools and platforms to accelerate product development and scale our engineering organization.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-quality internal tools, SDKs, and documentation that enhance developer productivity across the company.
• Own and improve the CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and deployment strategies to ensure fast, reliable, and safe releases.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to understand pain points and implement solutions that drive significant improvements in developer workflows and onboarding.
• Establish best practices for code quality, testing, and observability within our core development environments.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Developer Productivity, DevOps, or Developer Experience role.
• Strong proficiency in at least one major programming language relevant to backend/tooling development (e.g., Python, Go, or similar).
• Experience managing and optimizing CI/CD systems (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical issues into actionable improvements for diverse engineering audiences.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience building and maintaining internal developer portals or knowledge bases.
• Familiarity with performance monitoring and tracing tools.
• Background in contributing to open-source developer tools or SDKs.
