About the Role

Join Grafana Labs, an open-source powerhouse, to play a hands-on role in supporting and growing our vibrant developer communities across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

Responsibilities

• Organize and support community meetups across the EMEA region, collaborating closely with local community organizers.
• Evaluate and execute regional conference sponsorships, managing all logistics and ensuring strong community presence.
• Represent Grafana Labs effectively in both online and in-person settings (up to 30% travel required).
• Partner with affinity communities to explore and establish collaboration opportunities.
• Manage swag logistics and recognition programs for community contributors.
• Monitor community health metrics and provide actionable insights to the broader team.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience supporting developer communities at global, regional, or local levels.
• 2+ years of proven experience organizing community events, such as meetups and conferences.
• Strong, compassionate relationship-building skills, particularly across diverse community groups.
• Demonstrated experience leading projects and improving programs through creative, thoughtful approaches.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and comfort working independently within a distributed team structure.

Nice-to-Haves

• Direct experience with or active participation in open source communities.
• Familiarity with observability concepts or Grafana Labs technologies.
• Proficiency in additional languages relevant to the EMEA region.
• Comfortability using community tracking tools like Common Room, Slack, and Monday.com (or equivalents).
