Digital Assets Trader - Market Making (UK/EU Remote)

About the Role

Join our team as a Digital Assets Trader supporting our core Algorithmic Trading Business, primarily focusing on ALT Coin clients within the EU time zone.

Responsibilities

• Support the deployment of new algorithms, clients, and markets.
• Maintain a global updated view of all algorithmic trading operations.
• Execute trades across crypto spot, perpetuals, and options; and hedge both crypto and FX related exposure.
• Manage trading operations including asset rebalancing across multiple CEXs and DEXs, and facilitate settlement of assets.
• Implement preventative actions by adapting spreads and configuring conditions, pricing, and exposure thresholds on algorithmic trading bots.
• Monitor closely client service level agreements are met and evaluate trading performance using internal, exchange, and on-chain data.
• Track treasury and liaise with the finance team on accounting for asset balances.
• Report technical and financial problems and provide support to the dev team for improvement.
• Act as an internal point of contact on trading and market related insights.
• Liaise with the Commercial team to provide insights to market making clients on trading performance and service level agreement requirements.

Requirements

• 2-3+ years of cryptocurrency trading experience across CEXes and DEXes (professional or demonstrable high-level personal portfolio).
• Exposure to and an understanding of key traditional finance asset classes e.g., options, futures, FX.
• Strong analytical ability.
• Fully comfortable with trading and order books.
• Able to act and to take decisions under pressure.
• Understanding of digital assets and blockchain technologies (particularly CEXes and DEXes).
• Understanding of financial market structure.
• Strong attention to details.
• Adaptable and a strong team player.
• Good communicator.
• Fluent in English.

Nice-to-Haves

• Basic coding skills or ability to review queries and code in SQL.
• Basic working knowledge of Python.
