Director & Compliance Officer

About the Role

Join Keyrock's Seychelles entity as a Director & Compliance Officer, responsible for ensuring robust regulatory adherence within the dynamic digital asset environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead compliance efforts, serve on the board, and shape regulatory strategy in a key jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures aligned with relevant laws and regulations.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments and establish an annual compliance plan.
• Design and execute a plan for second-line controls, including conducting tests.
• Draft and present compliance observations and recommendations to the Board of Directors.
• Evaluate potential compliance risks of future business activities.
• Ensure effective communication of firm policies and procedures to relevant employees.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and maintain policies and procedures accordingly.
• Oversee Keyrock SYC's compliance with AML obligations and act as the primary AML point of contact.
• Perform AML/CTF duties including KYC, customer onboarding, ongoing monitoring, STR/SAR reporting, and complaint handling.
• Represent the company regarding money laundering prevention in Seychelles.
• Provide expertise and guidance on AML/CTF matters across teams.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure adherence to regulatory obligations.
• Serve as a Board Member focusing on compliance, providing strategic guidance and overseeing framework implementation.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a compliance officer (2nd line of defense) in a regulated financial institution.
• Demonstrated experience interacting with regulatory authorities.
• Excellent understanding of financial regulations such as AML/CTF, VASP Act, market abuse, and data protection.
• A relevant degree is required.
• Extensive experience in implementing monitoring and control processes.
