Director, Global Compensation

About the Role

As the Director of Global Compensation, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing innovative compensation strategies that attract, motivate, and retain world-class talent. This is an exciting opportunity to shape our high-performance culture by ensuring our compensation programs are competitive, equitable, and aligned with our global business objectives, supporting our distributed team across the Americas.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive global compensation programs, including base salary, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, and equity plans.
• Conduct regular market benchmarking and analysis to ensure competitive and equitable compensation structures across all regions.
• Partner with HR Business Partners and senior leadership to advise on compensation-related decisions and strategies.
• Ensure all compensation programs comply with local, national, and international regulations.
• Drive the evolution of the company's compensation philosophy and strategy to support talent acquisition and retention goals.
• Oversee the annual compensation review process, including salary adjustments, bonus payouts, and equity grants.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive experience in global compensation, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or director-level role.
• Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and managing complex compensation programs across multiple geographies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
• In-depth knowledge of global compensation trends, market practices, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with compensation benchmarking tools and HRIS systems.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in a high-growth, remote-first, or globally distributed organization.
• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation.
• Experience with equity compensation in a public company setting.
