About the Role

Join the Monad Foundation as the Director of Institutional Finance, leading the critical effort to bridge traditional financial markets with blockchain technology on the Monad EVM Layer 1. This pioneering role involves cultivating executive-level relationships and driving the adoption of real-world assets and tokenization in web3.

What You Will Do

• Lead initiatives to connect traditional financial markets and blockchain technology.
• Represent Monad at key industry conferences, panels, and networking events.
• Identify win-win opportunities between customer needs and blockchain capabilities with a product-oriented mindset.
• Contribute to Monad’s thought leadership and presence in the financial web3 space.
• Drive the adoption of real world assets (RWAs) and tokenization efforts within web3.

Who You Are

• You have 8-10+ years of professional experience, significantly within traditional finance or related sectors.
• You possess prior professional experience in web3.
• You are collaborative, solutions-oriented, organized, and detail-oriented.
• You are a strong, versatile communicator capable of engaging diverse audiences (technical/non-technical, crypto-native/non-crypto).
• You are analytical with a deep understanding of traditional financial markets and blockchain opportunities.
• You have an extensive relevant professional network, particularly with organizations interested in blockchain integration.

Nice to Haves

• Professional experience in RWAs (e.g., tokenized funds, money markets) and/or supporting infrastructure.
• A degree in a technical field or relevant technical work experience.

This role is instrumental in creating synergy between traditional finance and crypto rails, pioneering a net-new business vertical for Monad. You will be leveraging Monad's performance and portability innovations to enable institutional-grade scale and liquidity.
