Director, Product Marketing

About the Role

Join our team as a Director of Product Marketing, a pivotal leadership role focused on driving widespread adoption of our AI-powered DevSecOps Platform. You will lead strategic positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution at scale, partnering closely with software and IT engineering teams. This is a remote position within the US.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic positioning and messaging for GitLab's solutions.
• Lead comprehensive go-to-market initiatives to drive organizational adoption and market penetration.
• Collaborate with software and IT engineering teams to understand needs and facilitate solution integration.
• Drive thought leadership and market awareness for our DevSecOps platform.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior product marketing role, preferably within a B2B software or SaaS company.
• Strong expertise in developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies.
• Deep understanding of strategic positioning, messaging, and competitive analysis.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment.

• Experience with DevSecOps, developer tools, or AI-powered platforms.
• Familiarity with open-core or open-source business models.
