Join Affirm's Architecture Group as a Distinguished Software Engineer, leading the technical vision and roadmap for our critical Infrastructure domain. This remote US-based role is pivotal for shaping foundational platforms, driving innovation, and ensuring architectural coherence across all of engineering.

Responsibilities

• Drive the long-term technical vision for Affirm’s Infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and developer empowerment.
• Lead architectural strategy and roadmap definition in collaboration with domain tech leads and the broader Architecture Group.
• Serve as the accountable technical leader for Developer Productivity, covering CI/CD, application testing, environments & tooling, and code standards.
• Serve as the accountable technical leader for Reliability Engineering, including SRE practices, observability platforms, and reliability engineering frameworks.
• Serve as the accountable technical leader for Data & Storage Services, encompassing online storage, data lakes, streaming infrastructure, and batch systems.
• Serve as the accountable technical leader for Online Services, focusing on traffic management, capacity planning, and load testing.
