Elixir Engineer, Supavisor

About the Role

Join Supabase as an Elixir Engineer focused on Supavisor, our high-performance Postgres connection pool. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the stability and scalability of a critical component that handles millions of queries for our growing developer platform.

Responsibilities

• Work on stability and performance improvements for Supavisor to meet customer needs and optimize operating costs.
• Enhance the CI/CD pipeline for Supavisor to ensure seamless upgrades with minimal customer impact.
• Provide direct support to customers, third-party libraries, and other services integrating with Supavisor.

Requirements

• Experience with low-level protocols, leveraging pattern matching or parsers.
• Familiarity with the ORM, database client, and database integration ecosystem (e.g., SQLAlchemy, Prisma, Postgres connectors).
• Proven track record of improving CI/CD processes with a focus on minimizing customer operational impact.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL.
