Responsibilities

• Lead, build, and maintain vital business services ('Zaps') with a focus on engineering excellence and scalability.
• Ensure seamless user experience by overseeing the execution and authentication of actions within the system.
• Enable and empower your team to contribute to the evolution of Zapier's product catalog, aligning technical work with company objectives.
• Take ownership of and develop key business metrics used for performance assessment and strategic direction.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience managing teams of Backend Engineers.
• Demonstrated ability to build, train, and develop diverse engineering teams.
• Experience setting goals, metrics, and strategy for product-focused engineering teams.
• Proven ability to prioritize and lead multiple technical projects effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating across engineering and product disciplines.
