Engineering Manager (FE)

About the Role

Lead a talented engineering team focused on building innovative AI features and subscription products that impact millions of users globally. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you'll shape engineering direction and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the team's technical direction, including architecture and system design.
• Contribute to complex features, lead design reviews, and unblock engineers.
• Coach engineers on technical work, code quality, and design decisions.
• Drive engineering quality, best practices, testing, and scalable patterns.
• Partner with Product Managers and designers to translate product needs into technical plans.
• Foster an inclusive, high-trust team culture.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a strong engineer with a track record of delivering complex technical work and making sound architectural decisions.
• Experience leading or informally mentoring engineers and a passion for helping others grow technically.
• High standards for engineering craft, including code quality, system design, testing, and performance.
• Ability to be hands-on in the codebase while also thinking strategically about team direction.
• Clear communication skills, able to translate technical complexity and product ambiguity.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments and balance delivery rigor with pragmatic decision-making.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with front-end technologies relevant to commercialization platforms.
• Familiarity with AI feature integration and credit models.
• Experience with subscription product mechanisms and cross-application integrations.
