Engineering Manager, Integrations

About the Role

As an Engineering Manager for Integrations, you will lead a talented team responsible for building and maintaining the critical connections that power our platform. This role is crucial for expanding our ecosystem and enabling seamless automation for users worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of skilled integration engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and technical excellence.
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of integration development, from design and implementation to deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, other engineering teams, and external partners to define integration strategies and roadmaps.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of all integration solutions.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, testing, and operational excellence within the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a significant focus on API development, system integrations, or backend services.
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership or management role, guiding and mentoring engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of API design principles (REST, GraphQL), web services, and data exchange formats (JSON, XML).
• Proven ability to manage complex technical projects and deliver high-quality software.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with a knack for fostering team growth.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with specific integration platforms (iPaaS) or workflow automation tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and microservices architectures.
• Background in various programming languages relevant to integrations (e.g., Python, Node.js, Go).
• Experience working effectively in a remote-first environment.
