Responsibilities

• Directly manage and mentor a team of engineers, fostering their growth and ensuring successful feature delivery.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Success teams to define and execute the product roadmap.
• Coach individuals, optimize team processes, and remove obstacles to enhance iteration speed.
• Provide technical leadership, deeply understanding team challenges and making informed decisions.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, and development of top engineering talent.

Requirements

• 2+ years of engineering management experience or equivalent demonstrated leadership in building and developing engineering teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on asynchronous communication for a remote team.
• Ability to debug project execution and identify improvements in people, process, or scope.
• Strong product sensibilities, capable of translating product proposals and designs into engineering requirements and mitigating risks.
• Technical background in either Clojure or Frontend (React + TypeScript) ecosystems.
